That's how you heat correctly!
Start
Each optimal burning needs the correctly prepared fuel, the combustion temperature corresponding to the burning phase as well as the suitable oxygen supply in order to function in an environmentally friendly and energetically maximised way.

Move the combustion air controller to the right, using the “cold hand” (elongated adjusting lever, included in the fireplace insert delivery), for max. supply. |

Lay lighting aids or similar commercially available starting aids below the stake. (Paper is not recommendable as it burns too quickly and causes flying ash). |

lean it against the door frame with the handle in closed position in fold-away devices. |

leave the door ca. 3-5 cm open in devices in which the door can be pushed up. |

If the small wood for starting the fire burns well, put some small pieces of hardwood or larger pieces of softwood on the fire, following the stake principle. Leave the door ajar or, in devices in which the door can be pushed up, leave it a little bit open. |

l If the wood burns well, close the door; the adjustment lever remains in the right position. maximum combustion air; this position should also be maintained for at least 20-30 minutes in order to achieve the insert's operating temperature. |

If the kindling is burnt down and there are only embers left after the first pieces of wood have been supplied, you can put some more wood on (now hardwood is perfect). |
